What Are We?
FUDERELO is a Nicaraguan NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) operating in
Managua and several of the departments around the country. The
complete name is FUndación para el
DEsarrollo de
REcursos
LOcales (FUDERELO). The organization
engages in work including health care, legal aid, education, technology
transfer, agriculture, and construction. The program welcomes volunteers and
brigades to come and work with Nicaraguans on a variety of meaningful projects
in these and other areas. There are several
documents that demonstrate legality and authorization in
Nicaragua.

FUDERELO’S MISSION STATEMENT
FUDERELO's mission is to strengthen democracy at local and national levels through alternative methods which offer equitable and sustainable solutions to the problems of the poor; To contribute to the empowerment of community organizations through leadership training and organizational support; To promote development in Nicaragua based on the International Covenants of Economic, Social and Cultural Rights as well as Civil and Political Rights; To provide medical attention, legal advice and material aid to disadvantaged communities in Managua and rural areas in western and northern Nicaragua.

private non-profit agency. Donations
are needed and deeply appreciated.
